Phillip Crocker

Member Service Advocate, CCUFC

Phillip Crocker is the Member Service Advocate at Resource One Credit Union, and has been a part of the R1 family for over six years. Phillip has many years of experience in financial education, and his list of accomplishments continually grow as he positions himself in the community.

Phillip holds a BBA from Amber University and is a Certified Financial Counselor through the Credit Union National Association.  He currently is a member of the following organizations:

• Texas Jump$tart Coalition
• CUNA’s Personal Finance Institute
• Remington College Dallas – Curriculum Advisory Board
• Galaxy Counseling Center – Community Volunteer

In both 2008 and 2009, Phillip received the Texas Focus Award from the Texas Credit Union Foundation for his works in financial education.  Only two individual awards are given out in the State of Texas each year from this foundation.  Phillip has been one of those two people the past two years.  He has continued relationships in financial education with CUNA as a writer and a guest speaker at the 2008 Y.E.S. Summit.  He currently teaches financial education seminars at SMU, Paul Quinn College, Eastfield College, Remington College, and Westwood College.  Phillip has also taught youth in the districts of Dallas and Garland.

He is always on the lookout for opportunities to come out and speak about financial literacy in Dallas and Northwest Harris County.  His services are absolutely free of charge.  His passion is to help people and organizations better their personal or people’s financial condition.  Whether it’s  a church congregation, school district, small business, a large corporation, or something in between – he is available to serve.
