Valentine’s Day – Desire or Commitment

One week and counting down…

Yes, believe it or not we are one week away from Valentine’s Day.  Seems like only yesterday we were bringing in the New Year.  In fact, I can still remember the sights and smells of Christmas morning.  Full speed ahead with life as we know it – right?

I wanted to give you a couple of gift ideas for your sweetheart this Valentine’s Day.  (Desire & Commitment)

I suppose you are asking yourself – “Okay? – How are those two words gift ideas for my sweetheart?”  Well, sit back and I will tell you how they are gifts.  Actually, you can sit back or lean forward, depending on your eye-sight, and continue reading to get an answer.

Depending on your level of concern with your significant other, either one of these ideas make a great gift.  It all comes down to which one you rather give to your sweetheart this Valentine’s Day.  However, beware that one of these gifts will eventually expire while the other is a gift that will last forever.  The problem will be deciding which one to give this Valentine’s Day.

If you give the gift of “desire” to your sweet heart this Valentine’s Day, then  you need to understand the implications of your gift.  Understand that your gift comes with a shelf life.  You will give many-many gifts of desire during your lifetime.  You see…that is the thing about “desire”.  One only “desires” something or someone when the “time” is right for themWhen the going gets tough…the tough get going – right?  When you simply “desire” something in your life –  that feeling or level of importance “stuck-on” that person, place, or thing is only a temporary thing.  Be certain, that over time, conditions will change in your life.  If you “desire” something today, then it is only a matter of time until you will lose that “desire”.

If you want to give a gift that will keep on giving for a lifetime – then give the gift of “commitment”.

By giving the gift of commitment, understand that you are giving something entirely different to your sweetheart.  The word “commitment” actually tells something of so much more meaning.  It tells your sweetheart exactly where they stand in your life and is a gift that lasts forever.  Why – you might ask?  There is a difference between “desire” & “commitment”.

In fact, there’s a vast difference between the two.  When you simply desire something, you do it only when circumstances permit.  When you’re committed, you accept no excuses, only results and quitting is not an option.

Which gift will you give to your sweetheart this Valentine’s Day?
